The room was very good, but to me, the most outstanding factor of my stay was the high standards of your staff. Without exception they were very pleasant, very helpful and expressed themselves well. They were there to please and to help when required. I travel frequently, and I cannot remember when I last met hotel staff of this calibre. To me it showed that they have been trained well, and that they are rewarded well for their work and therefore value their job
This comment does not really reflect on the hotel, but since the hotel booked the taxi for me I think you should be made aware. I booked a taxi through hotel reception for Saturday evening. There were three persons and we wanted to travel no further then 2 to 2.5 kms. ISince it was not a metered taxi one of my colleagues asked the price of the taxi fare before leaving the hotel grounds. The lady taxi driver was not sure, but queried it with her office whilst en route to our destination. We were advised that the taxi fare was R210.00 - that is for a distance of 2.0 to 2.5 kms for 3 persons. Naturally we refused to pay that ridiculous amount and the driver returned us to the hotel. My point here is that, if the hotel is recommending this taxi operator to your guests, both South African and International, I have to wonder just how many of them have been seriously Ripped Off by this company, as it is not everybody that queries a taxi fare. Perhaps you should consider another taxi operator as this does not reflect well on the hotel.
Most of the staff were helpful and very pleasant. The room service food was great at good price.
I was asked to pay for keeping the room for 4 extra hours although the hotel was not full. I know that this may be a policy, but it is courtesy to good clients to overlook policies and make customers feel confortable if no harm is caused.
The friendliness of most of the staff - and their helpfulness. Hotel Sales and Management when I met them were also very helpful and responsive.
Initially when I arrived, I was too early to check in to my room. However, I was then asked if I minded having a smoking room as that was all that was available -- I initially agreed but on seeing the room went back to Reception. Whereupon, I was allocated a non-smoking deluxe room straightaway - it would have been far better if this had been done immediately, as provision was obviously there.
I love the facilities and the staffs were very friendly to us, our requests were answered on time. I love the waterfront view and the location.

It is nice and central. Rooms were comfortable.
The restaurant staff were rude and the restaurant prices were very high. When I got to the hotel they billed me R1100 instead of the R899 I was expecting. They apparently booked me into a suite.
The upgraded room was far more comfortable.
The bathroom of the room we received at first was full of cockroaches and leaking water. We received an upgrade where it took them about a hour to get the airconditioners working, having to come back to the room at least three times.
The location was close to where I needed to be.
The severe trafic noise and the fact that I booked a smoking room but was told on my arival that I had a non smoking room. After a length discussion I was eventualy given a smoking room. I guess the lady who was ment to get my room was now stuck with the problem.
Very good location in safe Centurion, near to big shopping mall with many restaurants. Protected parking in front of the hotel. Nice view over the lake. Small swimming pool (unfortunatelly not available during my stay).
Nothing. Staff at check in was very unfriendly. Took 20 min to check me in. The lady did not want to charge me the rates I booked for on Booked.net and said I should pay full rates. After waiting for the manager only he said he will let me have it as per my booking confirmation. Finally reached the room and when I walked in realised that they have not even cleaned the room since the last customer. I had to go back to reception and wait again for another room - they were full in that room category and wanted me to pay for an upgrade. I decided to leave the hotel immediately. All and all the worst experience ever.

Though the stay was short but I loved the friendliness as well as readiness to give a hand of the staff.
All that I can say is we need a protea Hotel in Rustenburg.
The service was great and the value was fantastic. very comfortable beds and the food was great.
Their needs to be wired internet in the rooms. The reception on the wireless was terrible. Also you need to have a gym onsite if possible.
The staff are very attentive (customer focused) and friendly. Although they have some building work currently there is no disruption.
